facility, located 15 miles north of Aberdeen, Scotland,
has been operational since the early 1980’s and is
regarded as the centre of excellence for the specialised
custom and field coating market within the Bredero Shaw
organisation. With good logistical connections for fabrication
companies, over 80 projects are executed annually by our
highly skilled and experienced personnel. |

The following
specialist coating facilities are located at the 5.46-acre
factory site:
- Automatic Blast Line that can handle 12 m pipe lengths
up to 48” OD
- Hand Blast facility with grit recovery system for
external & internal blast
- Gas Fired Oven with capacity for fabricated steel
work up to 13 m long x 2 m wide
- Powder spray booth with extraction system and water
bath, 13 m long x 2.5 m wide
- Rubber extruding equipment
- Steam autoclaves 1 x 2 m ID x 13 m long, 1 x 2 m ID
x 17 m long and 1 x 3 m ID x 12 m long
- Climate controlled hall for polyurethane moulding
- Equipment for Controlled Rotation Casting of polyurethane
- Semi-automatic, single pass, heat and coat system
for the application of Fusion Bonded Epoxy
- Range of polyurethane pumps and equipment suitable
for factory and field work
Additional field equipment mobilised from Ellon also
