Bredero Shaw’s Kuantan, Malaysia facility is strategically located near the oil and gas fields in Southeast Asia and the shipping routes in the South China Sea, in order to effectively service local and international clients in the Malaysian and international markets.
With over 700,000 m² of plant and pipe storage area available, the Kuantan facility is the largest pipe coating facility in the world. The facility is capable of providing various advanced pipe coating technologies, enabling concurrent execution of multiple projects and product lines.
The Kuantan facility is located adjacent to Kuantan Port, which provides a safe and economical logistic solution for pipe handling and transportation. In addition, priority and dedicated berthings can be made available as well. This will reduce risks of demurrage or laybarge downtime.

Kuantan Port is an All Weather Port with 11.2m
draft and maximum DWT of 45,000MT for general
cargo and 53,000DWT for liquid cargo. It has
725m of multipurpose berth, 600m of container
berth, 1,510m of liquid/chemical berth and 140m
Service Jetty for pipe barges.

Located on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia,
frequent feeder vessels ply Kuantan Port from
Singapore, Port Klang and Tanjung Pelepas Port
where container vessels call.
